Haunting, history, and a little mystery!

Our fantastic guide wrangled our crew as well as she wrangled the spirits of Charleston! We were a wild crew, and she never wavered. We had so much fun learning the spooky history of the burial grounds, haunted alleyways, tales of terror and more. I would 100% take this tour again and definitely recommend Lindsey. (sp?) What a worthwhile time spent in this historic city. I recommend the latest tour possible!

The head and foot stones marking the graves. The death wagon picking up the dead. Creamation and mausoleums not being ways to dispose of the dead, preferred was burial. Story of the girl layed to rest in the mausoleum and bones and scratching of the door to get out.

Ok but historical facts off

We have been on several ghost tours and this one was ok. Our guide presented several stories and an evening walk around Charleston is always enjoyable. However, our guide didn’t have correct knowledge about Charleston history i.e. The Mills house wasn’t in existence during the Revolutionary War so it couldn’t have been bombed by the British; great earthquake hit the city in 1886 not late 1700’s. Many people go on several tours so it’s good to have your basic facts correct when hosting a tour therefore don’t feel the value of this tour was worth the price.

I have to be honest and tell you I was really disappointed in the Charleston Ghost & Graveyard Night-Time Guided Walking tour. The tour guide was a sweet person but she really lacked storytelling skills. She tried but there was really nothing scary about the tour and she spent too much time talking about her own personal experiences instead of historical knowledge of the area that would have made it more interesting. No suspense or dramatic language, we were left quite bored really and when the stories were told they seemed just made up . I think you need to train your staff better and I doubt I would take another tour from this company . Sorry , just being honest

It was me and my husband's first experience on a ghost tour and both of us enjoyed it. Adam was a great tour guide! Full of knowledge and entertaining stories. Coming from Maryland we didn't realize how much history and paranormal activity Charleston has! Fun fact, in Charleston you're walking on bodies all the time 🫣😬
