Our guide was Alyssa, she was awesome! We had thorough instructions on how to hold the paddle, steer, what to do in an emergency, etc. I’ve never kayaked and felt totally comfortable and safe in the boat. We saw tons of wildlife. Alyssa was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw, the marsh, and historical facts about the area! I’d say if you’re in the Charleston area this is a must do activity! The water was calm and the weather was perfect.

Our guide was Alyssa, she was awesome! We had thorough instructions on how to hold the paddle, steer, what to do in an emergency, etc. I’ve never kayaked and felt totally comfortable and safe in the boat. We saw tons of wildlife. Alyssa was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw, the marsh, and historical facts about the area! I’d say if you’re in the Charleston area this is a must do activity! The water was calm and the weather was perfect.

This was my first time in a kayak. My guide Peyton was great, she tethered me until I got the hang of paddling and guiding the kayak. She was very nice to all of us and gave us so much great information about the area and the wildlife. We had a beautiful day weather wise and an excellent experience. The check-in, the assistance with the kayaks, our guide, the experience, all was great. Highly recommend it!

Thank you for an excellent kayaking experience! Riann, our guide, was experienced, knowledgeable, and competent. The waters were slightly rough with waves. She maintained connection and safety with a relatively large group of kayaks while telling us about the ecosystem of the estuary. We were a group of three people and each of us enjoyed the time.
