What To Expect

Board your coach in Florence, and travel into the hills of Tuscany where the city of Siena awaits. Opt to take a guided tour of the city with a visit to Siena Cathedral to admire its renowned Gothic architecture. Or, make the most of some free time to set your own pace, and perhaps enjoy a coffee in the sun alongside the locals.

From Siena, return to the Tuscan countryside to explore the Chianti wine region. Stretch your legs with a stroll through a vineyard, olive grove and wine cellar, and refuel with a Tuscan winery lunch. As you sit surrounded by the grape vines, meet other visitors to the area and indulge in local treats such as cold cuts of meat, salad, pasta and fresh bread. Even better, a wine tasting takes place at the same time (not included in the tour option without lunch, guests will instead spend more time in San Gimignano)'

After lunch, journey onward to San Gimignano with its medieval towers, cobbled streets and squares. Explore the town’s historic center, cool down with a refreshing gelato and wander amid the 14 towers as you learn about their history.

Travel from San Gimignano to Pisa: your final stop of the day. Follow your guide to Cathedral Square to discover Pisa Duomo, Pisa Baptistry, the monumental cemetery (aka Camposanto) and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Return to Florence in the early evening, and finish your Tuscany tour with a drop-off at the start point.

Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Lavinia was wonderful, she kept us informed and entertained for 12 hours! She was truly personable, and you could tell she enjoyed what she did. The tour was a ton of fun, be prepared for some walking but each town you visit is so different in history and character that alone we would never have been able to learn or discover. The wine/lunch add on is 100% worth it, we left with 6 bottles of wine and the food was delicious. The farm is such an extraordinary and beautiful place. We also did the Pisa tower add on, the climb is doable and the view from the top is really something. We watched the sunset from the top and it was very memorable.

Great trip if you’re looking to see Tuscany without a car!

Getting to view three main hot spots of the Tuscany region in one trip is a must do! San Gimignano and the lunch at the farm house were the main attractions. Siena church isn’t much from the outside but the inside is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen. My tour guide for the trip Alessandro was very knowledgeable and gave the group a great amount of history of the Tuscany region. Also our driver Micheal was awesome too! Highly recommended the trip if you’re pressed for time and you want to see some of the Tuscany region without a car.

We had a great one full day Tuscany trip with visits to 3 towns. Toni our guide and Daniel our bus driver ensured we had a great day with lunch at a winery. Toni was quite amusing and helpful to us and all travellers. Worth the money.

This was a wonderful day. Naomi was an excellent guide. If you’re not a walker, there was a lot of walking to the sites, some uphill, but nothing too difficult. The highlight of the day was the wine tasting lunch at a farmhouse. Such a beautiful setting and the food was delicious. Our (young adult) family enjoyed this entire unique experience.

Fantastic day trip through Toscana. Very long day around 13 hour tour. We were lucky to have Stefano as our guide and he was amazing - very funny, engaging and patient with our tour group. I learnt so much about the history of Florence and the feuds between Siena. It was a fantastic day and lovely lunch at the Fattoria. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Florence to explore the rest of Tuscany.

Alice was a wonderful tour guide and our bus driver did a great job. Comfortable bus. Did this tour in 2019 and loved it so much we rebooked for our recent trip. Only disappointing part was on the first trip, the farm lunch was on outside beautiful terrace overlooking the vineyards and hills. This time the farm put us in an indoor dining hall on edge of property. Didn’t get the winery tour or pretty views of pool area etc as we did the first time. Other tour groups were already in that area and we were told it was luck of the draw. We had not been warned of that possibility so that was a bit of a let down but nonetheless the food was delicious. The tour of Sienna was great and we enjoyed free time in San Gimignano as well as Pisa! Overall, well worth it and recommended!

Stephano, our guide was great. Friendly and knowledgeable. The drive between the sites were not too long, sufficient time to rest and enjoy the beautiful Tuscan scenery along the way. Lunch at the winery was nice as well. Overall a great experience.

This tour was well organized. Loved Our tour guide Tony D.. He kept the day on track to see all 3 cities. He kept us informed, engaged, and had some comic chops as well. He was specific with meeting points and times and we always knew the expectations. It is a long day with walking. Be ready for that. Belongings between cities can stay on bus. Water available for 1 Euro on bus. Beautiful views from quaint San Gimignano. The lunch and wine at the winery is excellent — more scenic views also. Another tour guide led us through Siena which was very interesting history. Pisa — seeing the Leaning Tower can be checked off the bucket list!

Tour done in rush with a plain lunch far from what is described in what the tour consists. The guide did her best but we always were concerned that someone might be left behind and get lost. A simple day tour to San Gimignano would have been better but unfortunately we spend more time in the bus traveling from point A to B. I am sure there are better alternatives. Just a waste of money.

Our tour guide, Naomi, did an excellent job of sharing facts of the three cities and the surrounding area. Her information made the trip that much more enjoyable. It is a long day but worth it to pack in some amazing sights. Pisa is super commercialized. Sadly. That made it my least favorite but it’s still a must.
Amazing is the only word I can use to describe our experience & thoroughly recommend the tour.

The trip was amazing and Giancarlo was amazing too! His personality and knowledge was second to none and we had a great history lesson. We had lots of free time to explore and tour details explained clearly. We enjoyed everything about the tour-the winery, food and views spectacular and a highlight. San Gimignano, Sienna and Pisa and climbing the tower equally stunning.

Siena and Pisa were great! The medieval town was great to look at from the winery, but the town itself was very touristy. We’re not shoppers and wanted to see more historical sites instead of stores.
