Pickup details

- During the booking, please choose Pickup Location and then select the radio button saying "Please pick me up at" and choose "I don't see my pickup location" from the drop-down then type the hotel name on the box underneath so that we can easily locate your hotel pickup. -In case your accommodation is not a hotel you must indicate your exact address including street name, outside number, interior number, county, postal code and city. - To know the exact time and meeting point you must send a message thry the option on your reservation or must call us at least 24 hours prior to the visit date purchased. - We would like to make it comfortable for you so we will pick you up at your hotel or at the nearest point available in our routes. - Let us know if you are not in need of transport. - We cannot assure your pickup at a hotel where you are not a guest considering that some hotel's policies, not allow visitors to access at the property. - The guides will be dressed in red t-shirts with the Xcaret logo on the back for easy identification. The guides will say the tour name out loud. - Upon your pickup, please present your printed or digital voucher and photo ID for boarding the bus to obtain a bracelet for entering into the park. - If by the time you purchase the ticket you do not have the hotel yet, you must contact the Customer Service Viator staff at least 24 hours prior to the visit to the park to help you to coordinate the pickup with us. - You must be 10 minutes early at the assigned location. - Transportation service is not private so you will share the bus with some other visitors of Grupo Xcaret.

What To Expect

Following evening pickup at your hotel in Cancun, Riviera Maya or Playa del Carmen, arrive at Xplor for 5pm admission. Change your clothes and leave your valuables in the provided locker before your adventure begins. Between activities, stop by the buffet or take a break and relax in a hammock for a breather.

Cave rafting:

Attach the specialized paddles to your hands and paddle your raft through 580 yards (530 meters) of subterranean caves. Observe the glowing stalagmites, stalactites and other unusual rock formations as you float through the shallow (3 foot/1 meter) water. Lifejackets are not mandatory.

Amphibious vehicles:

Careen down a 3.4-mile (5.5-km) path through jungle terrain on an amphibious vehicle. Splash through two river crossings, past hanging bridges and a crocodile pit by the light of torches that line the way. You must be 18 or older with a valid ID to drive the vehicle.

Ziplining:

Soar through the night sky, under a veil of stars as you zip from one tower to another. End your circuit with a water landing after zooming through the jungle past fireflies, torches and bonfires.

Swimming:

Don a lifejacket for a swim in the pristine water of Xplor's underground caves. The 437-yard (400-meter) river is lined by stalactites and stalagmites, creating an otherworldly atmosphere.

Zipline requirements: Minimum height/weight is 4.5 feet (137 cm) or 88 lbs (40 kg); the maximum weight is 300 lbs (136 kg); maximum waist width is 51 inches (130 cm) and leg width 25 inches (65 cm)
Wear or bring shoes and clothes that can get wet, and bring a change of dry clothes that you can keep in the on-site lockers; please use chemical-free insect repellent
Important: Children must be accompanied by an adult all the time.

The pickup operates from different hotels in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and the Riviera Maya so it is necessary you to contact Grupo Xcaret to know the exact schedule of your pickup.

This excursion was amazing. We did almost everything in the park. The buffet was one of the best we had experienced. Be prepared to walk. A lot. It was moderately strenuous at times, so be prepared especially to do the ziplines. I would definitely recommend.

Your experience will vary, but if you staying in Cancun I wouldn't recommend this on your list as there are much better ways to spend a day of your time. High Adventure and all-you-can-eat sounds like a wonderful time, and it mostly was so 3/5. Lets start with the good - all of our questions were answered throughout the drive and arrival making the entry fairly smooth (minus the pickup). The locker keys are a wristband and changing to get ready was pretty fun to walk through the beginning area. The activities are quite fun, especially if you haven't experienced anything like them before. The food/buffet had a lot of options of good quality foods (steak, burgers, hot dogs, ribs, pizza, french fries, alfredo, mac-n-cheese, salad bar, smoked salmon, a whole mexican food area, ice cream machine - you get the idea) This alone may be enough to give most groups/people 5/5. However, we purchased the picture package. The bad. You have approximately 5 hours to do 5 40-ish minute activities and will not have any idea how to get to any of them upon arrival. Though we didn't feel we had waiting in much of a line for any of the activities, we felt turned around many times and in a large group was easier to eventually just split up at one point. The buffet does as best a job it can to label all allergens, though if you have celiac disease be prepared to have a very limited dining experience (We had even reached out to support prior to the trip beforehand for a menu of allergy information and were told it wouldn't be a problem - and it wasn't, if you want to eat humid spinach and guava cake.) Once you hit a certain time at night, actvities start to cut you off (only offering shorter routes to some of the activities instead of the full route). The really bad. If you purchase a photo package, it seems you at the mercy of all their equipment actually working. I apologize to the universe as we received around 60 family photos from a different family and are missing many of our own. At least it looks like they were having a great time together. I have messaged support but I do not think this will be resolved at all. More than happy to change my review in the future. The pick-up/scheduling of the bus pickup was not very good. I actually think the blame lies somewhere in the communication of Viator and Xplor. We were told we had to be picked up around 3 miles north of our stay, so we all hop on a bus and wait at the stop for 40 minutes. On our way home at night, there was a stop for other passengers literally right next to our stay, why we couldn't have been picked up there is mind boggling.

The experience was really nice. Please alot for more than enough time because some "rides" may take longer than others. Ask plenty of questions if you're not open to walking into the unknown of what to expect by the end of your "ride." Overall, I would recommend as a must visit & take advantage of all aspects of the part as you can. To our surprise snacks & dinner was provided

Epic zip lines! Great cave water exploring areas. Staff is amazing at making sure everyone is safe and ok at all times. Buffet was good too. We would totally do it again! (44yr, 15yr, and 9yr old)

The BEST excursion in Cancun

This excursion was the best part of my entire trip to Tulum, Mexico. Every detail was well thought of and made to be convenient for the guest. The safety points and team was top tier, and made everyone feel heard and aware of the importance of being safe. This is literally an all exclusive activity course with affordable and worthy add ins if needed! Highly recommend this to be your first choice if you enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Please wear good grip water shoes or strapped foam sandals!

Worth every penny!

Really great experience. My wife and I loved every aspect of the park, especially the underground excursion. What really blew us away was the buffet. The food was excellent! Another couple had told us how great the buffet was while we were waiting in line for the zip lines. We kind of thought they were exaggerating. We were so wrong. Probably the best buffet we have ever had! Totally worth every penny! We would love to visit Xplor again!

We enjoyed the zip lining the best. I would suggest going twice. Once during daylight and once at night. Plenty of time for all activities. Everyone working there including tour agents were so nice and helpful. Shuttle was comfy and watching videos about excursion, and other excursions, they offered was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

This is one of the best experiences I've ever been on! The park is beautiful and the activities were incredible, swimming through the caves and going on the ziplines. They have a great selection of food when you are ready to eat. Definitely wear comfy water shoes though as you will be trekking through the park soaked alot!

The weather was terrible last evening and they didn’t cancel the excursion. We all know weather is unpredictable but these activities will all outdoors and would have been extremely unsafe.

This Xplor activity is a must do! The park was a natural spin on amusement and there was plenty of different activities. We liked the amazing zip lines (one with a fire ring) the best! The bus transportation was clean and the bus guides were friendly. Otherwise the adventure park is all self guided which is nice for your own pace and needs!

I never got the time for pickup. When I did get to the pickup which was dreams hotel. They would not allow us to park our scooters. We miss the hold excursion. And when ask can we change to the next day. They said yes but when I called the park they said it was close.

I’m new to country they scheduled me pick up In different hotel so we got to aloft hotel all we got after that was look for some with red shirt with there logo no one with an red shirts logo with no one to contact and service connection was bad when finally got hold them they wanted us to reschedule are visit so we had other activities scheduled so we couldn’t reschedule so I requested a refund instead providing me refund I got the runaround and week later they want tell it was no show . Of course to y’all it was a no show we didn’t get the right details and was mislead we not about to get on van with random people

I feel that my family and I were discriminated against when it came to the zip lining. The weight limit says 300 pounds and we are thick but not 300. We were told that we couldn't get on because their harnesses wouldn't go all the way up our thighs. Everybody isn't the same size so there needs to be different harnesses. We were embarrassed and humiliated because we were told to leave in from if everyone. Also, if you're older and don't like to do alot of walking I don't recommend this activity.
