Things to do in  Phoenix

A great way to see Sedona from Phoenix if you only have a day. I just wish it allowed for me to book as a solo traveler instead of a minimum party size of two. The scenery is breathtaking and the wine was a nice way to end the day. John was a great tour guide.

Allie was very pleasant and shared a lot of fun facts and information about the three cities. I would have liked a little more of Phoenix besides the Roosevelt area. In my view, there is not much to see in Tempe and it could be eliminated with a focus on just Phoenix and Scottsdale and more time in both.

What could be better than an evening stroll through the sordid and creepy history of downtown Phoenix? Family friendly and informative, this tour is full of spooky surprises you have to see to believe!

Sedona and it’s beauty and the drive up and back to Phoenix as the dessert transforms in multiple phases. Chris our driver provided so much great information. Didn’t know Montezuma Castle existed so fun to see . Spending time in the quirky town of Jerome and then driving home over the mountain and seeing its beauty was great

Aldo was such a thoughtful, funny, and knowledgeable guide. This is a great tour if you are in the Phoenix area for a long weekend and have limited time to visit the Grand Canyon.

Long drive (as expected) from Phoenix, but the drive was scenic and the vehicle was very comfortable. Our tour guide, Mark, was very informative and pleasant and we got a chance to see spectacular views of the Grand Canyon from various areas along with South Rim. Would recommend!

The driver was exceptional. We had luggage issues and were much later than expected. He waited for us and was very kind and informative. We highly recommend their service. Quick confirmation. Nice clean car, courteous, safe and pleasant ride. Very knowledgable about Phoenix attractions and landmarks.

The entire experience overall was amazing. This was a great way to see the canyon and Sedona while on a vacation in Phoenix. The views were phenomenal! Our driver was very well versed in the history of the land and shared lots of information the whole way out and back. At GCNP, we only got one lookout stop other than the main lodge. Our driver kept looking at them and saying if it’s too busy we’ll keep going. I wish we would have had at least one or two more view points there. We did not give this trip 5 stars because of the driver. Her driving was horrible. She would point at something in the distance and the van would immediately swerve out in that direction. She talked with her hands which caused the wheel to be unsteady and the van to be all over the road. She yelled at other drivers calling them stupid, idiots, to move out of her way, etc. through the microphone. The road rage was non stop anytime there was another car. Once we got to the canyon, she pulled up directions on her phone, proceeded to continue looking at her phone with the directions and yet wasn’t following them and said she knew a better way. She was doing this through curves, etc and not paying 100% attention to the road. Through the GCNP, she was following extremely close to a driver that was going slower and so the car started driving even slower even though the speed limit was posted at 15-25 in some areas.. She took her eyes off the road for prolonged periods of time several times and we were veering in an out of our lane through the entire trip. Through the entirety of the trip, she was aggressively passing people on the left and then slamming on the breaks. Overall the experience was amazing! The driver/guide should definitely go through driver training again and maybe not be a solo driver for this type of trip. The driver stated at the beginning of the trip that she was the company’s best driver which is concerning. Anytime we were in the car, we got car sick which we never get. Seems like these tours are rushed and there may just be a bit of pressure on the drivers to beat the clock.

This tour is a long day, make no mistake (12+ hours), but it is worth having someone else (knowledgeable of the area) drive while you take in the sights. Zane, our tour guide, is extremely knowledgeable of the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas, and has great stories to go with a lot of the sights along the way. The van was comfortable and we all felt safe. There are stops along the way (around 1-1.5 hours usually) so it's definitely doable for all ages! This tour is great if you are first-timers and don't want to risk not knowing where to go or what to do when there. We were with our teenage kids and they also loved it! The sights are spectacular and we had a great time. Our only disappointment was not enough time in Sedona, as it was beautiful as well and a really neat area to walk around and shop, eat, etc. Highly recommend this tour, very well done!! (Oh and they pick up/drop off to/from most hotels in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, so it's even easier!)

I highly recommend this experience!!! I went in the late spring and the desert was in full bloom. The mountain is in the heart of phoenix and the views were spectacular! I had booked a hike at another mountain with Scott last year and enjoyed it so much we tried this new one. Scott provided tons of interesting details about all the cactus, trees, and animals we saw on the hike, as well as good information on phoenix and the sonoran desert / southwest in general. He came prepared with flashlights for after the sunset, water, and a snack at the summit. Had a great time!

This tour provides you a perfect path to visit the most famous sites in Sedona. Also, the tour guide gives interesting stories about the places we visit, enriching your experience. If you are staying in Phoenix, and never been to Sedona. This tour should be a nice choice.

We really enjoyed getting out into the Sonoran desert away from Phoenix to see the stars. David was thoroughly knowledgeable and patient as we peppered him with questions. He also brought along a few reptillian friends to show us. This was a very enjoyable experience and I highly recommend it. Bob Riley

Mike was an amazing guide, and this was a great way to see the Grand Canyon in a single day from Phoenix. It made the trip carefree and we felt so much more informed than if we did it alone. This made our Phoenix trip unforgettable!

This tour was everything I hoped it would be and more. As a first time visitor to Phoenix, Allie ensured that I got to see and learn about the history and highlights of the three cities. The nature visit is a welcomed treat, and dinner at the taco restaurant (Califta) absolutely delicious!!! Wish we had the restaurant in my town;-). I can’t say enough good things about the tour and especially Allie. She goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort. She’s a real people person and a wealth of knowledge. Thanks Allie!!!

I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Phoenix area. The views are amazing and our guide Memo was extremely knowledgeable. I loved every minute of this tour and got to see things i would have missed if i had just explored on my own.

Truly outstanding. What a fantastic way to spend a day. After having this experience, I would never consider driving to Grand Canyon. The trip from Phoenix gave a great opportunity to see the interesting parts of northern AZ.

This is a must trip for anyone traveling to Phoenix. Our guide David had a great knowledge of the Apache Trail, Superstition Mountain and the lore surrounding the area. The boat ride on Canyon Lake was spectacular. We were lucky enough to see bald eagles and mountain goats.

Bucket list ✔️❤️ Sedona and Grand Canyon! I feel like I saw all of Arizona and our driver, Kim knew all the best areas to visit. It’s amazing the difference in terrain throughout the state. We started in urban Phoenix, headed north to Sedona and saw lots of cactus on the way. Oak Creek and Sedona is gorgeous with the red rocks. Then headed further north to Flagstaff (cool college town- Northern Arizona University) and Grand Canyon. There was so much snow! We saw elk and the scenery is unbelievable!
