This is one of the best Tours of NOLA I've ever been on, I got to see so many amazing new places that I want to go back to next time! David our Tour guide was exceptional, he was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history of New Orleans. The Tour also provided a lot of context for the massive impact Hurricane Katrina had on the city of New Orleans. Touring the eighth and ninth wards was an extremely humbling experience as we saw the storm damage firsthand and the last remaining and infamous spray painted marking on a home that now serves as a memorial for the many lost lives. We also got to see the indominable spirit and sense of community the people of New Orleans share as they Rebuild.

Our tour guide, Darren, made this tour extremely memorable!! We were lucky enough to have him as a guide two years previously and his encore tour was just as amazing. He is very knowledgeable and gives the tour a special touch with his personality and spark. Our personal favorite was when he pretended to drive off and leave our adult daughter at Metairie Cemetery — she joined us in laughter recalling Darren’s similar stunt two years ago. Darren is truly exceptional and we hope to have a future opportunity to have him guide us again.

Darrin was a very good guide. He was knowledgeable and informative about the city and its history. He was also interactive and funny with the guests. And when the tour was over he dropped us off wherever we wanted, even if it wasn't where we were picked up.

The Voodoo tour is not creepy or absurd; Toast, our guide, is an adherent and is extremely knowledgeable about this and many other things. He has a shtick and is very funny but if you dig a little beneath the surface, he breaks character and you can have an informed and interesting conversation about religion, music, and all things New Orleans. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!

I loved our guide/driver (Darren) who is a native of NOLA. So much more backround about Katrina, the devastation and what the future of NOLA looks like. He was funny and had musical narritive for all of his stories that make it so personal. Differences between NY jazz, Jazz, blues, country and their development and influences
