Stay on the other side of the street of the Lalaurie mansion and I suggest not taking a picture with it.
Way too many people in our group(25), 10 would be perfect even if you have to pay a little more.

We had a blast! Overlooking the fact our tour guide was a Dodgers fan and spoke like he was announcing the side effects of Cialis, we thoroughly enjoyed his humor. He was knowledgeable and the history provided throughout the tour was interesting. We had fun and found some gems and drinks along the way. If you are up for walking, drinking and learning while meeting new people - do it. I was introduced to drinks I would have never tried had I not done this. Good times and DJ - if you see this - I’m beating my drums over here in H-Town. 🤣

DJ is amazing!! So informative, really knows New Orleans and has a great sense of humor. I would recommend this tour to someone who is visiting the city for the first time or someone like my husband and I who have been here many times. You might learn something new.

We had so much fun!! We were absolutely obliterated by the end and decided to walk through Jackson square again and I think I ended up catching a ghost on camera!! I uploaded it along with this review, but it appears to be a black square with a dot in the middle on the tree?? I have never had my camera capture anything like this and I strongly believe it was an entity. If anyone wonders what I did to provoke this, I simply talked out loud to them! I begged and pleaded for SOMETHING, ANYTHING to show itself as proof that my beliefs in ghosts aren’t in my head. And needless to say, I am more confident then ever after this!

DJ was amazing. Definitely recommend this tour and try to get DJ as your guide. The tour hit a lot of the haunted gems and having drinks along the way was an added bonus.

Our guide talked waaaay too fast - could not understand what he was saying. NO sense of humor. After an hour, we had been to 1 pub. We passed other tours with guides that sounded like they were doing a great job.

More murder story tour vs ghost tour

It was an okay experience. The tour guide had a lot of energy. However, we had too big of group. They put us in a group where they was 28 and they should have had more guides to make it smaller. The stories were of murders and not so much ghost stories and encounters. I’ve been on a ghost tour in Nola before and this not the best.

The group was way too large and included a bachelorette party. Those groups should be booked separate from extra visitors because it made it very difficult to hear anything the tour guide said. If you’re booking this tour, expect more of just a pub crawl with very minimal ghost stories.

Our tour guide was Richard and he was a GREAT tour guide. He was fun and informative. I enjoyed his commentary. The pubs we stopped at were also great, the cost of the drinks are reasonable.

Took a haunted pub crawl yesterday but ended up so upset with the bad attitude and rudeness of our tour guide. We went to a few bars but he wouldn’t let up try any other neighborhood bars or even lean against the wall…

Our guide, Caroline, was informative and fun. We visited 3 pubs and received information about local spirits and history. It was entertaining to learn about New Orleans' colorful past.

Our guide cursed constantly, have little to no haunted info, was more interested in stating his religious and politics views than providing the haunted tour we signed up for. Very disappointing. First time we have felt like Viator provided a less than wonderful experience. This was a total waste of money and time…I can only assume it would have been a wonderful experience had we had a different guide. But the cursing was out of control as were the constant religious and political commentaries
