Perfection!

Alton, our bus driver, and Robi, our tour guide, were excellent. Robi's knowledge of the history of NOLA was fantastic. I loved the way he wove the history into a story. It was a perfect day!

The tour guide had scattered thoughts that she continued to share on a loud speaker the ENTIRE time on the bus. She came onto the swamp tour boat and interrupted the swamp tour guide multiple times.
Awesome package to kill 2 bird with one stone
Jesse_B, May 2023
Loved both the tours had a problem at the restaurant at the plantation tour (we sat over 20 minutes and no one came up to get water or order food so we had to leave because we were on a time crunch and they knew because they asked what time our bus was leaving, turned out waiters didn’t know their zones). The swamp boat ride was awesome and saw countless alligators because it’s a private property and they’re allowed to feed the alligators. Awesome tour guide as well. Had a lot of fun and laughs.
Amaxing tour

Swamp Boat Ride and Oak Alley Plantation Tour from New Orleans
Samuel_P, May 2023
Jim with 1 M was amazing and so was the driver great time. The plantation was great and interesting and the food was great at the resto. The swamp part of the tour was a little bit too long and the guy in charge of the swamp tour talked too much about nothing and wasn't as informative as it was at the plantation tour or when with Jim.
Plantation/Swamp Tour combo is a perfect match
Justin_M, May 2023
We had a great time at the plantation and swamp. The coach bus was very comfortable and our guide gave us a history lesson on the approximately one hour drive there. We had about 3 hours at the plantation which included a tour of the home. Check out the sit down restaurant while you are there. Our swamp tour was a lot of fun. You’ll be in a covered pontoon type boat so you’ll have some sun protection. The guide was very knowledgeable and funny. He made it a really awesome experience where we got to see gators, wild boars and some other wild life.
A day full of amazing experiences
Markus_D, May 2023
Charles (our guide during the bustrip) was just great. He gave us such a lot of historical and practical information. He knows everything about where to go for good food.
Plantation Tour
Dina_S, May 2023
Plantation tour was neat, but felt it was not all inclusive. I would have liked to experience more than what had been provided. A kitchen was not shown for getting a sense of cooking in that era.
Long experience
Matthew_L, May 2023
What the website doesn't tell you when you are looking to book this 'adventure' is that it is going to be between 7 - 8 hours long..... Screw whatever else you have planned for the day. Fyi, the swamp boat ride is a very short alligator feeding experience, not a swamp exploring experience.
Highly recommend
Jamie_H, May 2023
I wasn't thrilled with our particular bus guide, but the experience itself was fantastic and worth the five stars anyway. Captain Tom was amazing for the swamp portion of the trip--you will really see a lot of gators, wild pigs, etc up close & personal. The Oak Alley plantation is just beautiful with a nice, not-too-long guided tour of the main house along with some self-guided information about the reconstructed slave quarters. We were only in New Orleans for a few days and I still highly recommend this trip even though it takes the better part of a day.
Nice tour
allen_b, May 2023
Generally I enjoyed the tour of the plantation and swamp. Dionne, our guide, talked about the topography and geography of the area we were visiting. It would have been helpful if she had a map possibly on a iPad showing the swamp areas, dry areas, and the location of the plantation, something more visual. The guide at the plantation slave houses had an iPad showing exactly that. Very enlightening. Enjoyed the swamp tour with the Cajun guide who spoke French. Liked hearing him speak French
Plantation and Swamp Tour
Mariaelena_C, May 2023
The ride to the plantation was very comfortable and our tour guide was super sweet and friendly. The oak trees were super beautiful. I would have like to hear more stories from the slave perspective rather than a focus on the owners and big house though. As for the swamp tour, we loved our tour guide as well. He was funny and down to earth. The day before, it rained like crazy so there weren't as many gators out as we would have liked. Also, we had a very annoying group of people on our boat that kept standing up repeatedly, recording, and taking non stop selfies at the front of the boat so it made it difficult to see, or take our own pictures of the few gators we saw. Next time, I'll pay more for a small group airboat tour, or private tour.
