Our guide Jessop, or Ketchup, was excellent. He had a wealth of knowledge that he imparted in an informative yet entertaining way. We saw several alligators, some wild pigs, raccoons and birds. It rained for a bit during our tour but we were covered in the boat so we didn’t get wet. A very enjoyable experience. Our driver Justina, was very good as well.

Good tour, not happy with Viator.

Tour was very good. Our issue was with booking through Viator. When we booked through Viator, we were given ONE choice for pickup. That was at the Hilton Homestead Suites. It was 2 miles from our hotel. So we drove there. Parking cost us $40. When we got on the pickup bus, we were informed that there were 4 pickup locations. One turned out to be 2 blocks from our hotel. We found out later that if we had booked directly with the tour company they would have let us know about all pickup locations. Viator cost us $40 extra. Not pleased.

The museum is put together very nicely however the exhibit rooms don’t seem to be well ventilated. They were very packed and by the 3rd floor I had a major asthma attack.

Very nice day at the swamp. We saw crocodiles, turtles, birds and raccoons. Both guides (bus and boat) were funny and informative. The swamp are beautiful and very peaceful!

Wonderful break from several days in New Orleans. We saw beautiful trees and plants and lots of wildlife (alligators, raccoons, snakes, turtles, birds); we learned about the ecosystem; and got much needed fresh air. Peter was a great guide on the boat- very informative but low-key. Dea, our bus driver, was an unexpected pleasure, sharing an insider’s view on the impact of Katrina, and local history. I would recommend this tour to friends

Derek, the bus driver, was awesome. His nonstop narrative occupied us for the 40 minute bus ride. Wade, our boat driver, was informative and skilled at driving. The thunderstorms were unavoidable. The scenery of plants and animals was amazing. I would definitely do this tour again.

Our bus driver Derek was wonderful. On the way there, he gave us a wonderfully descriptive and funny info guide on NOLA. I especially his vulnerable sharing of the historical and personal impact hurricane Katrina had on him and the residents of New Orleans, and how it important for others to respect that locals have every right to still be talking about this devastating loss. Our tour guide Desi was informative, knowledgeable and funny on the swamp tour. He offered some great local history and I am so happy that I got to see such a variety of creatures and vegetation.

Great tour and a chance to get out of the hustle and bustle of New Orleans and experience nature. Relaxing bus ride out to Honey Island and Bam Bam Larry our bus driver gave us some info about the New Orleans area. Wade our boat driver was also very knowledgeable about the swamp life. So surprised there was NO BUGS! Very comfortable.
