The rating would have been lower but our server at dinner made up for the frustrations from the beginning. The captain delayed us getting on board because of a wedding he was performing. I feel that since we paid full price for our tickets and there wasn't a notice about a wedding taking place. He could have handled it better. The captain could have at least given an apology but he did NOT! I felt he thought it was ok to do things his way, but he forgot there was other paying customers too. On the other hand the other staff from the ticket booth to the boat was friendly.

Food was good. The music was ok but I'm not a huge jazz . Band seemed to be making up the words as they went. Not much to see on the river. A shorter cruise would have been better. After an hour I was ready to move on.

The food and band were good. I love how the band engaged everyone. We were a lively bunch, it was sooo good. Only issue was the gumbo was NOT good, tasted burnt, everyone sent it back.

We had a wonderful cruise on the Creole Queen! A few highlights include the passing ships, hearing ship horns including the Queen’s, and the views of the skyline and sunset over NOLA!

Relaxing boat ride. Okay food, but charge for coffee after meal was ridiculous. Didn’t mind paying for the booze, although they didn’t have any bourbon. Band, we have heard much better, so they were disappointing. We thought the band would be visible during dinner, not on top of the boat, especially since the experience was a bit on the high side for what we got. We could have paid for a nicer dinner before the boat ride. This was a one and done adventure for us.
Underage drinking and drug use

I paid $190 for this romantic cruise, the first time I visited New Orleans. Dinner was nice. We were told at this point only there was a “special event” going on and not to bother them on the second deck. This “special event” happened to be a graduation party full of underage drinking and cocaine. My problem is why not notify me in advance you are having an underage drinking obnoxious event during my romantic evening dinner? I was there all week, I would have booked a different day! Even allowing the behavior was appalling, although the staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. I wasted my money. Don’t make the same mistake.

We were celebrating our Anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good, the music was great and the sunset was awesome. Got many pictures and had a great time.

The Creole Queen Jazz Cruise exceeded our expectations! We arrived at the docks at 6:00 and stated boarding at 6:30 and we were seated in the dining area within 15 minutes. The food was excellent! The crew and dining area wait staff were super friendly and took really good care of us all night. The Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, Smoked Brisket, Maque Choux (corn and peppers), Ceasar Salad and Bread Pudding were all excellent! And it's an all you can eat buffet. The dining room is air conditioned. You are assigned a table in the dining area that you can keep all night if you like. You can start going through the buffet as soon as you are seated. After diner, we went outside on the top deck and watched the sunset. The cruise was very smooth and not bumpy at all. We had cocktails and coffee from the bar which were also very good. We cruised past Jackson Square at sunset and got some amazing pictures. Just a very relaxing and excellent experience. The dock is located by the Four Seasons hotel and shares a walking area with a major mall that is also air conditioned. We'll definitely do this again on our next NOLA visit.

This is labeled a jazz cruise. No jazz was played. There are so many young people on the cruise that something should be presented for their interest. No interesting facts over the loud speaker, really nothing to do on this cruise! The price was reasonable however I would have paid more to receive more….

Enjoyed the night time views of New Orleans. The buffet was not up to the standard we expected in New Orleans. My family complained that there was only one desert and some of the buffet dishes were almost empty.
