The tour guide Curtis and Celeste who drove the bus most of the way were brilliant. Curtis was friendly and knowledgeable and gave interesting facts on points of interest on the journey and an excellent short tour at the destination. Grand Canyon itself was beautiful and well worth the trip.

Excellent tour run by Grand Canyon Destionations
Gladys_Y, May 2023
This tour run by Grand Canyon Destinations is excellent. They used a double decker bus with separate driver and tour guide. The double decker bus was very roomy and gave us a great view. The tour guide explained everything very clearly-the drop off and pick up points. We had an option to order dinner as the tour was quite long and everything was well communicated. Needless to say, the Grand Canyon views are unbelievably beautiful and this tour was comfortable and very well organized.

Curtis group was the best. Tour guide engaging and efficient. Bus was clean on-time and safe. Driver/s were helpful and carefully drove us to and from our destinations.
Great tour, worth every penny!
Sahitya_K, May 2023
The bus ride was comfortable and our guide Curtis was knowledgeable and tried to cheer up a dull crowd with regular commentary and jokes. Made stops/ slowed down to watch some of the small towns on route 66. For an additional $20 Curtis gave a guided tour of the Grand Canyon national park and took pictures for everyone as well. Made an extra stop very close to Vegas for dinner where we had to choose from the fixed menu. Would have rather preferred an early drop to Vegas instead where I could choose for myself.
Better than expected
Glenn_F, May 2023
Spectacular views, recommend seeing, better than expected, bus ride a bit long but definitely worth the time
Poor food
Lloyd_A, May 2023
Our guide Aiga was superb. Knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and fun. Breakfast was unappealing. I am sure better fpod providers are available. Lunch was average, nothing special. I almost gave 3 stars instead of 4 because of the food.
It was a nightmare
Letisia_d, May 2023
Made us be there at 5:20 AM but the bus arrived over 2 hours late. Made several stops for no reason on the way to the park. The guide encouraged the people to be late coming back to the bus. We returned to the hotel at midnight. Horrible experience

Hello, Thank you for contacting us regarding your tour. We are happy that you had the opportunity to experience the Grand Canyon. We are sorry to hear about your tour being delayed. Unfortunately, we no longer operate our own buses due to the pandemic. We are a small family-owned business and we try to provide the best tours at the lowest cost and our goal is to make sure everyone enjoys our tours. As for the several stops on the way to the park, these are convenient stops for the passengers and the driver to get something to eat, drink, stretch their legs, or use the restroom. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced and greatly appreciate your feedback as we value every passenger's opinion. Our sincere thanks for your understanding. It has been a pleasure to serve you! Thank you, Tour Orders Customer Service 702-833-1071 (Main) 866-717-8687 (Toll Free)

I enjoyed the experience of the Grand Canyon. It was breath taking. I wish I could have seen more. I do plan to return. Hopefully my health will be better. However it was a great experience.
Epic adventure to the Canyon
Sarah_S, May 2023
A great trip, with an informative guide and refreshments too. Highly recommend! Whilst this is a long trip, leaving the strip around 6am and not returning until 9-10pm, it is worth it to see the sights - not only of the Grand Canyon, but also the Hoover Dam and Route 66 as well. We had regular contact from the company prior to departure about the pick up time and also the option to pre-order our lunch too. At pick up, as we got on the coach, we were provided with a breakfast bar, which was a lovely touch. Once on the coach, a breakfast menu was circulated so you had the option to have a hot cooked or continental breakfast (extra cost), which was picked up at Boulder City, where we collected our lunch as well. Our guide Kurt, was very informative about the towns we were passing through, providing history facts and pointing out interesting things to look out for. There was a brief stop on Route 66 for a rest break and a wander around a gift shop that had some quirky memorabilia. Once we got to the Grand Canton National Park, it was good to stretch our legs and enjoy the fresh air! It was around 1pm by the time we arrived and we had a good 3 hours to enjoy the Canyon. We opted not to take the extra guided walking tour, and instead walked along the 2.5mile path, along the edge of the canyon, which took us to the village area and where we would meet the coach again for pick. Plenty of time to take lots of pics, enjoy the view and browse the stores when we finished our hike. Even enjoyed a cheeky drink in the beer garden, before we got back on the coach for our return journey to Vegas. On the way back, movies were played on the screens - we managed to get 2 full movies, which helped pass the time. As the sun went down, we passed by the Hoover Dam. Whilst we were not stopping, we were still able to get some great pictures form inside the coach of the Dam lit up. At our final rest stop in Boulder City, there was an additional option to purchase some dinner too. Menu options were limited but the burger and fries were very good and filling. If you prefer not to opt for dinner, we did also stop at a Gas station prior to the boulder city stop off, where you can get snacks and drinks to keep you going. All in all, we had a fantastic day and would highly recommend it.

The tour guide did an excellent job. The trip was comfortable. It was a long day but there were breaks to stretch your legs and use the restroom.

The sight priceless. The aviator experience should have been better
Frances_B, May 2023
Once we got there, it was the experience I could not phathom until I saw it for myself. It took my breath away. Having to chance pick up location and drop off location left a lot to be desired. None of that took customers into consideration. The meals were unacceptable, the rush was unacceptable and the facility stops for restrooms were pretty awful.

Hello, Thank you for contacting us regarding your tour. We are happy that you had the opportunity to experience the Grand Canyon. For Bus Tours, we set the nearest pickup point for everyone staying at a certain area, usually, a walking distance or a few minutes ride from your hotel. We cannot afford to delay scheduled pickup times due to the limitations of the number of hours our drivers are allowed to drive by law. Your feedback has been passed on to the restaurant's manager. They are in the process of hiring more staff to stay on top of those matters. We sincerely apologize that the meals did not meet your expectations. We have just started using this restaurant and also have passed your comments to their management. We are a small family business and your feedback and reviews are very important to us as we value every passenger's opinion and we also wanted to make sure everyone enjoys our tours. Thank you for understanding. We really appreciate your business! Thank you, Tour Orders Customer Service 702-833-1071 (Main) 866-717-8687 (Toll Free)
Happy with our experience!
Holly_J, May 2023
We had a pleasant time on this tour. The bus was very comfortable and having a couple movies to watch on the trip back to Vegas was a plus. The boxed lunch was sufficient band tasty. Three hours was a perfect amount of time to spend at the Grand Canyon. The only recommendation I would make would be to skip the last “dinner” stop before getting to Vegas as it was only a short drive longer and then we had many more choices as to where to eat and would have gotten back a bit sooner. Overall I would highly recommend the tour if you want to see the Grand Canyon and don’t want to have to drive there yourself.
Great views not enough time
Isabelle_C, May 2023
Great views but only 1h30 there so not enough time. Additionally we’ve feeled scammed when we learn that the optional guided tour (which is only the bus driving you from one place to another in the park) was not really optional if you don’t want to end up walking between 2 bus stop… disappointing
Response from Host, May 2023
Hello, Thank you for contacting us regarding your tour. We are happy that you had the opportunity to experience the Grand Canyon. We offer a walking tour inside the canyon as an optional activity. We have found that this is the best way to live your Grand Canyon experience. It provides an in-depth shared knowledge of the canyon. As a bonus, our tour guides also take beautiful pictures to create lasting memories of your Grand Canyon tour. Some passengers prefer to explore the Grand Canyon by themselves and walk at the Grand Canyon from one point to another since there is a shuttle bus that visitors can ride for free. Also, you will be given a map to follow as you walk the 2 ½ mile paved trail from Mother Point to Bright Angel thereby giving you the flexibility of viewing the canyon as you please. Can you please contact us at your earliest convenience cuz we need more information regarding your issue that you did not get enough time at the park and we would be happy to look into it? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Our sincere thanks for your understanding. Thank you for your business! Thank you, Tour Orders Customer Service 702-833-1071 (Main) 866-717-8687 (Toll Free)

The whole Grand Canyon view are amazing . The experience was incredible. The feeling it gives you to be there.
Overall Good, halt should be 3+ hours
Sushilkumar_T, May 2023
Everything was good. At least 3-3.30 hours should be given to travellers for exploring the trail. 2.30 hrs was but less and we ran to catch bus at Bright Angel Lodge.
Good Grand canyon south rim trip

Trip was processed as planned, such as pick up time, pass out food, and instructions etc. Also the driving is as good as you can get.
Honest review

Things I wish I knew before purchasing this tour: Transportation: it was not a bus with toilet and wifi, it was a Sprinter full of people. In my case, I was in the back seat sharing it with 4 people, for a 10 hours trip it was not confortable at all. Rate: 1 out of 5 Guide: Really nice guy full of knowledge to share, he instructed us all the time. Be aware that he will guide only in the Sprinter, on the GC his tour costs additional 20$. Rate: 5 out of 5. Time at the GC: They promissed 3 hours, but in our case it was less than that. The Sprinter passed thru the GC gate at 11:15 and this is when the clock starts ticking. We left the bus for instructions ar 11:30 and the guide asked us to return at 14:05 so the Sprinter could leave at 14:15. So do the math, we had a total time of 2:35h. Be aware that in order to see the best spots there, you gotta take internal shuttles, which takes time to arrive and to leave you at the right spot... so we had like 1h to see what we needed and take pictures. This 25m taken from us would me some difference. Rate: 2 out of 5 Stops: 3 each way. The last stop is for dinner, which is an expensive place, with simple food. We spent 1 hour there.... we'd REALLY appreciated not going there and using this time in the GC. Rate: 2 out of 5 Grand Canyon: An amazing and beatiful place that you must visit. Rate 5 out of 5.

Hello, Thank you for contacting us regarding your tour. We understand that visiting the Grand Canyon is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for most of our clients. When we have not met the minimum number of passengers to conduct a bus tour, we offer other options rather than canceling the tour. They have the option of rescheduling their tour to another day or receiving a complimentary upgrade (at no additional cost) to our luxury Mercedes sprinter for the same day of their scheduled tour. We are pleased that you opted to accept the upgrade and continue with your initial plans to visit the canyon on your preferred date. The Mercedes Benz sprinters do not come equipped with a lavatory. However, we do make rest stops for bathroom breaks along the way to the canyon. When you purchase the walking tour guide, you not only get an in-depth shared knowledge of the canyon but also beautiful pictures are taken by your tour guide to create lasting memories of your Grand Canyon tour. The walking tour is totally optional and is offered way in advance before getting to the park. As for the dinner stop, this is a convenient stop for the passengers and the driver to get something to eat, drink or use the restroom. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We will surely take note of the events that occurred on your tour and address them to improve our services.
