We limit the amount of hotels we visit for pickups, so that we can spend more time at the Dam, and less time on the bus doing pickups. Our hotels for pickup are strategically placed up and down the strip including downtown, so your own hotel should be either right next door or a very short walk away from where you will meet the bus.
What To Expect
Following pickup at select Las Vegas hotels, climb in to the climate-controlled vehicle for the drive to the Hoover Dam. Get to know your guide and small group along the way, learning about Hoover Dam history through your guide's commentary.
Upon arrival, start your visit with the Powerplant Tour. Descend 524 feet (160 meters) into the walls of the Black Canyon to see the Nevada Powerwing. Stroll through the generators and see the enormous pipe inside one of the diversion tunnels. After poking around in the depths of the earth, take the elevator back up to the Visitor Center. Get a full picture of the Hoover Damn's history through the exhibits and displays that show the building of the dam and its daily operations.
The highlight of this tour is the Walk on the Top portion: trek over the top of the dam itself. This excursion is one of the only from Las Vegas to offer this option. Stop by the bypass bridge to see the dam from above, before hopping back into your bus to head back to Las Vegas.
During the trip home, stop for lunch to fuel up after your day of learning, seeing and doing.
Your tour concludes with drop-off back at your select hotel in Las Vegas.

The Hoover Dam Tour was great glad I took it. Beautiful piece of work. And the Tour down in the dam was exceptional. Lot of history on this tour. Me and niece surely enjoyed it. My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Our tour guide Dan was super cool, told great jokes and made the tour fun. The bridge overlook was amazing, as was Hoover Dam. Great information, we saw what we wanted to see and got some great souvenirs to take back with us. Plus on the way back to Las Vegas we were fortunate enough to see desert Bighorn Sheep, which are such beautiful creatures. I highly recommend this tour. We'd definitely do it again!

Great day out to the Dam - a marvel of engineering now let alone when it was built. Great opportunities to see Dam from different viewpoints. I wasn’t aware it included a comedy show as such but Dan was entertaining and informative when he needed to be. Shout out to Ken the bus driver. Great excursion from Vegas!

This is the 2nd time my friend and I went with Comedy on Deck. Both times, the hosts were pretty funny and courteous. We didn't feel rushed at all. I will book with them again when in Vegas.

Horrible! They switched my trip from Sunday to Monday to be here at 6:50 AM no one showed up! I called and now they are saying 8:15AM let's see what happens. However there was a bus here, probably for my group, but our name was not on it, because we were originally Sunday!!

Great location to visit with very good tour guide from Comedy on Deck company. The Hoover Dam is a must to see, especially the guided tour of the inner workings of the structure. I highly recommend it if you want to see a wonder of the world.
