Disappointing experience

Really disappointed with this experience. Was squashed between people at back of helicopter so couldn't move and therefore it was hard to take photos. Also couldn't do skywalk experience as too busy with crowds.

I had been wanting to do this tour for a long time and let me tell you, the wait was worth it. Seeing the canyon from above is a must! Everything was on time. A lot of safety explanations wich was great because we had never been on a helicopter. Our pilot Chris pointed out a lot of interesting places to note along the way and he even flew us into the canyon. The walls were all around us! The views are spectacular! I share only a couple of the many pictures I took. Coming back in we saw the Last Vegas strip up close. Highly recommend this tour!

Manny was our pilot for our helicopter ride. The views were excellent and he did a wonderful job narrating what we saw. My husband and I enjoyed this very much and would do it again! The company promptly picked us up from our hotel and all time estimates were correct.

Really there were two parts to this tour- the first being the sauna ride of a crazed driver of a taxi-bus with no air conditioner. And, the amazing helicopter tour- life time experience and the only way to see the Grand Canyon!

This flight was great and the scenery was spectacular. We saw the following from the air - Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, Boulder City (from a distance), Las Vegas, and of course, the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Let me tell you a little about the 6 passenger helicopter we used. There is a solo Pilot seat, obviously reserved for the pilot, this seat is on the right side. Behind the pilot, is a back seat which seats 4 passengers (the helicopter company checks for weight of each passenger before allowing passengers to board). The two people behind the pilot's seat have plenty of legroom as the pilot's seat is set closer to the front than the bench seat to the left of the pilot's seat which is set back a little further and seats two passengers. This leaves two passengers on the left side of the back bench seat who need to squeeze in to a much more cramped position than the two right back bench seats which have more legroom. This all applies to taller people who have longer legs. On the flip side, the back left bench seat does allow for great pictures to be taken. I mention this as this was my first helicopter flight and I did not know what to expect. All in all, my wife and I had a great time with a great pilot who explained locations and other tidbits of our view and the area. We were not informed if we could speak during the flight so none of the passengers spoke and just listened to the pilot and his 'mixed' music selections in between his commentary. They also had complimentary soda and water for us upon landing. Thanks to 5 Star Helicopter for a great time and the friendliness of the staff (especially Gloria).

This was and extended trip but not sure what the extended bit was. Also the pre recorded information over the headset kept cutting out so unable to learn the history adequately. Finally, there were light refreshments included which was a can of coke or alternative.
