Today, the tower famously displays the Crown Jewels (which include the Imperial State Crown) and holds centuries of history within its walls, drawing travelers from near and far. It remains guarded by members of the Royal Bodyguards, known as Beefeaters. Visitors can admire the Royal Armouries in the White Tower, walk along the battlements, and see where Anne Boleyn was executed by order of Henry VIII. To the Tower!

Having pre purchased the ticket saved standing in one less queue. Sgt. Major Kelley, our warder tour guide had a great presentation and personality! He welcomed us Americans “home”! Sadly we went on a Friday which was quite crowded. We need to take the tour again at a less crowded day. I thought the site was one tower. It is a massive complex full of hundreds of years of history.

The trip started with a bus tour in London with our tour guide narrating. Interesting facts abound. Then st Paul's cathedral with guide on radio is very impressive. Got drop off on the final leg at tower of london and thames boat ride for the finale. All in all a well Wirth trip and guide is great!

Tower of London for kids & families Private Guided Tour with pre-booked Tickets

I came with my 7yo to London for spring break and enjoyed our private tour with Ben. He was very patient and attentive, and was super nice to boot! Kept my 7yo engaged throughout the tour. We learned a lot the Tower of London, and Ben even waited in the long crown jewels line for us while we queued in the almost as long line for ice cream!

London in a Day Tour with Westminster Abbey and Tower of London

Adrian was our guide. He got us to the front row for the changing of the guard. He couldn’t go into Westminster Abbey due to the coronation but he told us what to look for. Tower of London was great. Adrian regaled us with the history and all the gory details. He was a wealth of The entire experience was fabulous due to Adrian being out guide !

Tower of London for kids & families Private Guided Tour with pre-booked Tickets

We used Viator for a private tour of the Tower of London. Alexandra was the best tour guide. She was very informative (even on things outside of the Tower of London) yet kept it fun and interesting for our 7 and 8 year olds. It was one of the best things we did on our trip to London and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Viator again.

Our Premium Tours guide, John (?) was knowledgeable and showed us many sights. The Crown Jewels exhibit was my favorite. Hard to believe all those jewels are real! The Tower of London was a lot of history. The river cruise was relaxing as showed us beautiful sights from the boat. I will continue to use Viator Tours for all my tour needs!

Tower of London Private Walking Tour

Touring the Tower of London and learning more about its history was at the top of list for this visit to London. We were so glad we booked an actual tour. Our guide Olga was so lovely and she shared so many interesting stories with us. Our teen daughter was with us and Olga made it especially interesting for her. It was definitely our favorite day of the trip and we highly recommend it!
